Tropical radiance smoothie recipe

Smoothies are one of the easiest and most delicious ways to give your skin a boost. As introduced to us by the model at our recent photoshoot with Grazia (pictured), this beautyfying tropical green smoothie is bursting with calcium, magnesium, B12 and iron and will help clear out any toxins, leaving you feeling revitalised, full of natural energy and glowing from the inside out.

Ingredients

Serves 2
150g ripe pineapple, peeled
1 banana, peeled
1 apple, quartered
Juice of 1 lime
A small thumb of fresh ginger, grated
250ml coconut water or water
½-1 tsp Spirulina
A handful of ice

Method

  1. Roughly chop the pineapple and add it to a blender along with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blend on a high speed until completely smooth. Taste and adjust the spiciness to your liking by adding more ginger, if necessary.
  3. Pour into two glasses. Serve chilled.
