Rebecca Hopkins, Co-Founder
Rebecca co-founded Balance Me in 2005 with her sister Clare after a leading high street fashion store asked to be supplied with 200 spearmint foot polishes for their VIP clients. The same retailer gave the brand a “pop up shop” in their Oxford Street flagship store and Balance Me, the brand was born. Previously Rebecca worked for French cosmetic giant, L’Oréal heading up their communications team for Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Fragrances and Lancôme. She is also a qualified reflexologist and co-founded wellbeing and lifestyle events business, Balance being with Clare in 2002 (www.balancebeing.com).

Balance Me’s “face” on QVC, Clare created the brand’s
award-winning “Super” blend at her kitchen table when she was just
18 years old, long before it had crossed her mind to build her own
natural beauty company. After leading a successful career in stock
broking and strategy management consultancy, Clare travelled the
globe and re-trained as a yoga teacher before returning to the UK to
co-found Balance being with Rebecca.

A qualified aromatherapist, Sian joined Balance Me while the brand
was still in its infancy and has brought with her a wealth of retail
expertise thanks to her time working with leading high street
retailers such as M&S and Boots, as well as her aromatherapy creative direction. Sian hand blends all our bespoke aromas and has been instrumental in ensuring we gained our Ecocert certification so we can “hand on heart” promote our “clean and green” credentials.
